International Pilots Working In China Forum will be held in Shanghai on 21st of Nov 2017, hosted by China Airline Pilots' Association. This is the third time such forum has been held.

The number of foreign pilots flying in China has increased steadily over the past 10 years. With the numbers increasing, some problems is becoming more and more visible. This year's forum will try to discuss and improve on some of the commonly recognised problems through discussion with industry representatives, as well as welcoming inputs from foreign pilot representatives and pilot associations of other countries.

Issues discussed will include

 *​streamlining application process (medical/ATPL test/license verification)

 *strengthen daily management of foreign pilots​

 *better understand and manage cultural differences​

 *experience and learnings accumulated through current recruiting process​
